June 8, 20179 yr I would take Kyrie in that situation over LeBron, any day of the week. LeBron's history shows he will settle for a jumper in clutch time moments... something he is not good at doing. Go back and watch that last possession by Irving. Over 20 dribbles, about 5-6 between the legs dribbles and he absolutely goes no where and settles for a step back long jumper.

It was a horrible play on his part. I am just saying in general I would rather have the ball in his hands than virtually any other player in the NBA.
June 8, 20179 yr He was the only one of the major players on the Cavs to have a positive +/-. The other two on the entire team were Williams (+4) and Korver (+3). Love was -11 and Irving was -9. As I mentioned after Game 1, people love to laugh and parrot "Lebron needs help" as if he was supposed to carry everything by himself, and guess what - the numbers show he's still carrying more than his fair share. This is a man that has lifted his teams to 7 consecutive NBA finals, and in 2007, literally carried his team there. I don't believe he is the GOAT, but he is in the conversation and it is disingenuous for people to continue to pretend otherwise. Sorry, I don't buy it. Guy has one of the top 3 PGs in the league, and one of the top 5 big men. Throw in Thompson, JR, Deron Williams and Korver and he has plenty of help. The Warriors are just FAR superior in every aspect of the game.

Were people saying Lebron needs more help before they banged into a brick wall of a far superior team? Frankly, Love's inability to do a single thing other than rebound last night is why they lost. I don't understand what you're arguing anyway, as it was you who posted how poorly Cleveland did the instant Lebron left the floor for the paltry amount of time he did. If that doesn't say "needs help" then I don't know what does. The Cavs beat Golden State last year. The Warriors improved via one of the best players in the league. The Cavs stayed flat. Simple as that.

The point remains that wherever the fault, they are clearly outclassed.
