May 19, 20179 yr I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but...I'd take Votto. You put him 3rd in the lineup behind Rose and Morgan, and ahead of Bench and Foster, and he'd have had a gawdy stat line. Doggie was great, don't get me wrong. But, I think he benefitted more from the surrounding players in the lineup than Joey has.

I love Doggie but Votto would have been amazing in that lineup.
