This has been a total embarrassment for our country in a lot of ways. We cant do anything either way for fighting the other side. I am so tired of it. Even if we agree with your analysis (which I don't), that is the system in which DJT was elected and asked to get things done. Does anyone disagree that his administration might have gotten more accomplished in 4 mos. if he had started by governing for all citizens on Inauguration Day (infrastructure bill, tax cuts, facially neutral immigration tightening, bipartisan meetings, courting the MSM, etc.) rather than continuing campaigning and feeding red meat to his base (failed repeal & replace, crowd size claims, failed travel ban I and II (both substantively and method of rollout), sophomoric jabs at Dems via Twitter, clearly adversarial relationship with MSM from his communications staff, firing of Flynn, recusal of Sessions, nuclear option to get Gorsuch confirmed (effective but long term consequences?), etc.)?

 

If you choose to continue to pick a fight with an entrenched political and media class, you can't then complain about not being able to get anything through Congress OR the judiciary OR about the MSM coverage you are getting. You reap what you sow.
