Steak N' Shake Coming To Alexandria

Featured Replies

Let's hope it's run better and kept cleaner than the one in Florence. Was a fan of the place when first opened in Florence but over the years the quality of service and cleanliness of the place went downhill and we haven't been in the restaurant for a few years. What I would like to see is a Freddy's which is similar to Steak and Shake but much better IMO.

seems to be accurate for all of them.

There is a lot directly across the street from CB that has been cleared out. Not sure it's big enough for a restaurant though. Lots of available land to the south though. I can see that whole stretch of 27 turning into a restaurant row.

Great , another Beechmont Ave.

The one in Cold Spring might be one of the most poorly managed establishments I've ever spent money at, and nothing changed after new management. I refuse to go there.

Same, they were out of beef the last time I went.

I can't imagine they would let them build something like that right there. The traffic there is going to be bad enough.

Wait...there is still a Burger Chef around?:idunno: Please give me directions to this place.

I never understood why people like Steak and Shake. Their milkshakes are very good, and cheap during happy hour. But everything else....meh. and the service is always extremely slow. No thanks.

Not that I'm aware of.

The food is not good, and nothing about that place is "fast food". :thumb:

Agreed, the food isn't good.

With fast food, you need to hit 2 of these three attributes---good, cheap, fast. Steak and Shake doesn't have any of the three.

I'll give them the cheap part.

Man, some you you must have a really sucky Steak and Shake in your area. The one in Frankfort has very tasty burgers and I love the shoestring fries. Service if you go inside is a whole nother story though, at it's best it's usually bad.

I've eaten at 4-5 different ones and the food is always poor quality IMO. Service is worse.

I've never had an issue with the food quality, but the service is literally always terrible.

I believe they are also putting a Steak & Shake on NKU's campus in the Student Union. Replacing what was Coyote Jack's.
