Boyle County 2017

Featured Replies

Landen Bartleson(So.) and Tanner Crawford (Jr.) in the backfield are both a threat to go the distance every time they touch the ball. Bartleson is the fastest kid ever at Boyle County. He won the AA state title in the 100m dash last year as a freshman and already holds the school record.

2016 stats

Bartleson- 50 car 443 yds 5 TD 6 rec 112 yds 1 TD

Crawford- 130 car 840 yds 14 TD

Not sure if I can say Boyle will be great this year considering great by Boyle's standards is a state championship team but they will be a good team. I see next year and the year after as Boyle's best run at a title. Not exactly sure when the scrimmage is. Typically it is the Thursday or Friday the week before their first game.

Agreeing with West Danville, you can also add Biggs to the list of quality backs that the rebels have. One important key is to get the ball in the hands of Reese Smith more. He is a tremendous offensive threat with great speed and the ability to elude tacklers. I think our passing game will be sound and more consistent than last year. Knowing how to utilize all of this offensive talent and to have more of these weapons on the field at one time will be the key in my opinion.

I also have heard the next 3 years Boyle will be great, and this years team may be the most talented Boyle has ever had. The names that everyone knows around the state are Bramel,Paycheck,Kelly, and Smith, but who else are there big time players-3 of those are lineman, and does anyone know when Boyle has there first scrimmage?

Most talented EVER? Come on.......

Most talented EVER? Come on.......

yeah...kinda my thought too....could certainly be one of the best.

Let's discuss again mid-December!

Let's discuss again mid-December!

In fact, let's go ahead and discuss now.

Boyle showed in their scrimmage vs Madison Central that there is a big difference saying this is the most talented team ever and showing this is the most talented team ever.

Dropped balls, penalties, missed blocks, blown assignments, and poor tackling looks more like a mediocre team that might get 7 wins and lose a second round playoff game.

Good news....it was only a scrimmage!:thumb:
