CC will beat Highlands, and IMO will make a strong run at AAA Title.

With the receivers they have the Colonels should be getting more deep plays, like they did against NewCath. I don't know whether it is that the line can't protect long enough, the throws are inaccurate, or the deep plays aren't being called, but if they want to make a run something needs to change.

Sorry, the columns didn't line up the way I thought they would. The numbers are Rushing Yards, Passing Yards and Total Off. Yards (Cov Cath had 83 Rushing Yards, 138 Passing Yards, 221 Total Off. Yards)

I was under the impression that he was considered the top prospect, but I haven't found anything to back it up, so I guess not.

He's a legit D1 prospect as evidenced by Mr. Weiss showing up on North Bend Rd last winter. I just don't think he's considered a "top" prospect.

CovCath's offense isn't going to get better. .

I agree with one of your previous posts that the O is not clicking. However, why would you assume they will not get better? From my perspective, the passing game is not where it needs to be and it appears to simply be familiarity and timing. Those can be improved upon.

And there aren't many defenses in Ky 3A as good as X's.

If Notre Dame sends its head coach to look at a player, how can that NOT be a top prospect???

There are exactly 0 defenses as good as X's in KY 3A.

221 yard against St. X is pretty solid if you ask me, that is almost 100 more yards than they put up last year against them. I think the offense IS getting better.

For those who don't think CCH's offense is going to get better, I'd invite you to watch one of their games, and see just how many balls they are dropping. These are some of the best receivers in the state, and you know one of these games they are going to hold onto all of them. I'm not sure if a defense in 3A will stop them if that happens. Of course, Josh is inaccurate at times, but they just put up 220 against one of the best teams in the country, they have now seen the best they will see.

Or any other sport for that matter:rolleyes:

You make it seem like CCH has no chance. They were a play away from beating HHS last year, and 2 years ago HHS did zero offensively against them. What makes you think that play doesn't go in CCH's favor this year-both teams are improved from last year.

Look at the record the past 10 years... When you guys start beating us on a consistant basis then I might worry about it.....:ylsuper:

ND came to CCH to talk about Pete Sutton yet he's not at the top of any lists, right?
