Clearly raiderbird is not or he/she would not be posting in the CovCath/St. X review thread.

ND came to CCH to talk about Pete Sutton yet he's not at the top of any lists, right?

If you are talking about the very best at his position in the entire country, then maybe not; but it sounds like we are talking about different qualifications.

221 yard against St. X is pretty solid if you ask me, that is almost 100 more yards than they put up last year against them. I think the offense IS getting better.

For those who don't think CCH's offense is going to get better, I'd invite you to watch one of their games, and see just how many balls they are dropping. These are some of the best receivers in the state, and you know one of these games they are going to hold onto all of them. I'm not sure if a defense in 3A will stop them if that happens. Of course, Josh is inaccurate at times, but they just put up 220 against one of the best teams in the country, they have now seen the best they will see.

I'm not being critical of CCH's offense at all; I am just stating the fact that no one in the state of KY will offer the same test as X's defense does.

or basketball, soccer,

Swimming, track, cross country, golf.... etc, etc, etc.

I agree with one of your previous posts that the O is not clicking. However, why would you assume they will not get better? From my perspective, the passing game is not where it needs to be and it appears to simply be familiarity and timing. Those can be improved upon.

They've had all summer in passing leagues, etc. to get the timing down a bit. After the entire summer, and then two-a-days, timing really shouldn't be an issue. After five weeks, it still looks to be a concern. If you can't pass the ball well in warm weather, what are your chance of being successful in November?

Lets keep Highlands out of this thread.

My bad, it's been six weeks.
