St. X in a big win 42 - 0.

Too much fire power for Manual this year. I have not seen Manual this year and am basing my opinion on what I have been able to read about them here and other places. I do know a couple of the kids on Manual's team personally and wish them luck in all their other games but realistically I see three or four losses to come on Manual's regular season schedule.

^ Manual has already played 2 teams better than St. X. After those losses they seemed to get their game going, and with that some confidence. Unless they crawl back into a hole I see this as a good game. If Victor is out even a close game.

Boy, a week ago St X was the toast of the town. Now, a scant 10 1/2 minutes of mistake-filled play later, they're feeding at the same trough with a 2-2 rebuilding Manual team.

To be fair, some have had the same questions about X from game 1, and Anderson is said to be not playing.

And Warren Central still is a top 10 team in our esteemed BGP poll, even after their loss to Manual. So it's not like Manual, though young, is incapable of playing with a top team. Will they do it against X? I'm not so sure, but I do think it's possible given the conditions.

Amaizing what a poor performance, un focused approach, poor enthusiasm and general lack luster effort gets you..... even if it was for 10 miniutes.... St. X has proven they can play that bad..... Now, they need to prove they can play like they are capable (against good and very good teams)...... Time will tell.....

Question for X fans. Is there any chance Vic plays? Were all the reports of being out 3-6 weeks wrong?

Very wrong, Vic is fine, he has a deep bruise on his ankle and nothing is torn. He is moving well and probably will be able to go against Manual. Knowing Glaser he may be held out even if he is ready because he is very conservative about returning a player from an injury. Very good news for Tiger fans.

I'm glad to hear he wasn't injured. That is good news.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vic held out of this game, even if he's feeling up to playing. X is not nearly as one dimensional as some on here would hope they are. There are also bigger fish to fry the following week and a healthy Vic would be a great asset. Manual could become the Duece show.

I only hope X shares your attitude.

I think that this game will be suprisingly close for most of the first half. Manual may even score on special teams. No matter what you do about coaching, etc, X still has their depth and I believe that will prove to be fatal to Manual in the end.

X - 27

M - 16

Great news for Vic Anderson. I'm glad the young man won't have to sit out an extended period.

I only hope X shares your attitude.

I am sure the St.X coaches and players have the right attitude for this always tough contest against our long time rival Manual.I expect the Tigers to play very well. They will certainly be rested and ready having played less than one quarter of football the last 3 weeks.
