Bam made some lousy plays against UCLA. Teams double down on centers they can't defend with one player. Bam did a poor job of recognizing double teams. Should be letting the double come then find the open man. He played hard and contributed in other ways. That's cool! Learn and move on. But Bam gets no free pass.

 

Doesn't 5 assists from a guy that averages 0.7 assists show that he was, indeed, finding the open man when doubled? He had some turnovers when doubled, especially early, but as the game went on his passing and defense were huge.

UNC's offensive rebounding really concerns me. I think UK can win but it will take their best performance of the season. I've really enjoyed watching this team this season and I feel they reached their potential. I don't think it is enough today though. Tarheels 78, Wildcats 71.
