Fourth time these two squads get together this season, with the Tigers having won all 3 contests. Will they make it a clean sweep on Friday night, or will Ballard win when it matters most?

I'm sticking with the Creek!

Ballard loses 4 times to Ky teams this season. Once to Bowling Green by 2 and 3 times to Fern Creek (5, 15, & 15). Cannot imagine FC winning a 4th time over a Ballard team this good.

I think Creek wins again.

Fern Creek winning in impressive fashion against a solid Hoptown team doesn't bode well for the rest of the field. Fern Creek 68-59.

Fern Creek should take care of business. They are focused so far, so a 4th time shouldn't come into play especially at tournament time.

Didn't Renner do something totally out of character for his teams the last time they played? For some reason, I remember seeing that somewhere. If that was the case, do you think he was thinking way ahead in preparation for a possible Sweet 16 matchup with Fern Creek?

In the 2nd game Ballard was short handed due to injuries and played stall ball the second half, Jason Frakes said on twitter that Renner went to the concession stand at one point during the 3rd qtr.

Going to take Fern Creek in this one. They have too many weapons, that it really doesn't matter if they have a player having a bad game. Moore has off night, Wales goes for 20, Wales off night Price goes for 20, etc. etc. etc. I look for a 10+ point win. They are playing at a very high level right now.

That's right. I knew it was something weird like that.

This is like a game of five-card-stud. Coaches Schooler and Renner pretty much know each other's cards very well, but each has one unknown. It will be interesting to see them play, and should be a tenacious game - well worth the ticket price.
