February 20, 20179 yr I don't know why every year we have people complaining about All-Star games. They aren't supposed to be competitive. They are supposed to be fun. This is supposed to be an off weekend for the players. If you don't enjoy deep threes, lots of dunks and flashy plays, then maybe you are just looking for reasons to complain. Agreed. I love watching the pros do pro things.

February 21, 20179 yr Worst played all star game ever. It wasn't even a good pickup game. Maybe because I played ball. They used to at least try to play defense halfway. Kevin Hart could've gotten 20 tonight. It's been going that way the past few years. Next year a team will have 200 points (all uncontested). Should be some level of competition. It's a glorified layup line out there. I believe Lebron hit a 3 from about 40 feet out so I don't know what kind of defense that can be played there, and that's what an All Star game is, a showcase of offensive talent.

Dunk on someone or coming through traffic. Yes. Wide open lanes and people laying on the court. Nope. Not impressive to a high level, or ex high level hooper. That's why retired nba guys even spoke on it.
