Guess the students were letting Dakich have it during the game and Izzo didn't know who tell after the game and then gave his thoughts in a post-game press conference. From the link: Before the 9 p.m. ET tipoff, Dakich, in a since-deleted tweet, said Michigan State students are whiners who are too "dumb" to get into Michigan, where his son attends and plays basketball.
February 15, 20179 yr Saying they're whiners, no big deal. When he made the comment about them being too dumb to get into Michigan, he completely crossed the line. He's paid to be a broadcaster and be impartial. I know he won't be, but to me, this is a much more fire-able offense than what the tennis commentator got canned for.
