After talking to my friend, he stated that coaches nominated there own players, but can't vote for there own.

 

Each coach can nominate 3 players in the region even their own players. But when voting time comes you are correct they can not vote for their own players

My buddy is an asst coach at GRC and he said that BC was the only team that didn't submit any nominees.

 

Could be an oversight!

 

Anyone who is even remotely around the girls game can look at this list and know that this was an oversight on someone's part.

Bracken hasn't submitted stats all year on their players and they did not submit any names for All Region ... oversight maybe, but the one to blame is the Coach and his support staff. It doesn't take long to send in any of this information!

Congratulations to all these young, hard-working Ladies!! Lots of talent in this 10th Region and very little difference between the top 15 players. Good luck to all in Districts.

Congrats to all the girls! The list seems fairly accurate although some of the Camels young talent should have made the list somewhere. Especially freshman Mallory Holbrook, averages almost 9 ppg and is shooting 35% from 3pt. Her ability to take pressure off of Schwarber and Clos has been huge. IMO she is a better player than some of the honorable mention girls for sure.

Check with the coach... I'm not sure she was nominated. I saw the list from my buddy and that name doesn't ring a bell. Schwarber and Clos sound familiar though

I wish the coaches could nominate more than just 3 girls. Last year McNutt from Mason County didn't make any team because she wasn't nominated. This year Frodge was the player who had to be left out. I'm not sure why Coaches wouldn't be allowed to vote for any player on the KHSAA roster for each of the Region 10 teams?

I agree to an extent, but what happens when coaches nominate 3 is other coaches wont vote for all of them and votes are split, so I could only imagine what it'd be if coaches had unlimited nominations.

 

Maybe coach Cox could've nominated 3 or they could've used BC's 3 since their coach didn't
