July 21, 20179 yr I hope he finds a job that doesn't leave him hanging out there as much as this one did.
July 21, 20179 yr Sarah Huckabee Sanders is much better at the job than he was. Nothing against him but he just was not great at it. I do agree that it is a BRUTAL job...especially when working for Trump as the press is out for blood with him on a continuous basis...
July 21, 20179 yr Hardest job in DC. No way he lasts. I say he's out before summer. It wouldn't surprise me to seem him fired in the next month. Who had July 21st and what do they win? Spicer has resigned. Looks like @Clyde nailed it in his opening volley.
July 21, 20179 yr Spicer became a national laughingstock with his tortured and surreal attempts at defending this president. It was a nearly impossible job (White House press briefings are now held off camera to preserve what little remains of Sarah Sanders dignity), and you almost feel sorry for him. Almost. Had to be one of the worst jobs on the planet.
July 22, 20179 yr Spicer wanted the communications director job and had been doing that job since May when the previous person holding that job resigned. Spicer actually had interviewed people to take the press relations job over. The President hired Scaramucci to be the communications director and Spicer resigned. Reports say Spicer and Preibus don't feel Scaramucci is qualified to be the communications director. Scaramucci is another Goldman Sachs guy and does not have a communications background. Spicer resigned rather than go back to his old job only under someone he thinks is unqualified to be his boss.
