No, everybody understands that saying Belfry's offense is better than Henry Clay's is knee-slapping hilarious.

Reading comprehension in Pikeville is fine. Compare Pikeville Independent's test scores with whatever your school's are sometime. :sssh:

Ive always heard that on graduation at belfry that, instead of diplomas, the boys get underground cards and the girls get SSI applications. LOL! before yall get mad Im just kiddin, This is going to be the game of the year in the mountains IMO Ive just got a feeling. These are the 2 programs that IMO put eastern Ky football on the map. Still staying with my prediction though

Pikeville-8

Belfry-6

Go Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread has gone downhill. Can we not get back on the game?

I know you're just "kidding"....but a tasteless comment nevertheless.

One more thing. Pikeville has to get off to a good start in the game....

I've already stated it a few times in this thread but this WILL be a good game. FYI I'm from Belfry and will always root for the Pirates and believe in my heart they can win any game but for all those predicting a Belfry blowout, I believe you might be mistaken. Do I hope for a blowout win? Yes but I just dont see it. This Belfry team in no way compares to the last 3 years and Pikeville is without a doubt much better than previous years. That in itself says lookout for a nailbiter. Now dont get me wrong I believe this years Belfry team has more room to grow than past years and come playoff time will be a serious threat for a state championship, as will Pikeville. I honestly dont mind a little trash talking but this has gotten a little out of hand on both sides. Both schools are the pride of Pike Co. when it comes to football and academics as well. I didnt miss a Pikeville state championship in the '80s and have always rooted for them and to bad mouth them in any way would be crazy. Ask any football fan down state about either program and they will all tell you that they are classy, tradition rich programs. Again this is a game that IMO is too close to call. I say we all just wish for a good game without injuries with the best team on this night winning. Good luck to both teams.

Should be a great game but Belfry wins by 2 touchdowns.
