Went to game last night with my father–in-law he commented that he saw the young man play last year and he didn’t shoot the three very well. Last night correct me if I’m wrong but he missed all the 3’s he took. He has game and to me he has really good hands and a nice soft touch on his shots in close. He’s young and has two more years to develop and work on his outside shot and I also think he has the right Coaches working with him to help get to the next level.

I really like how Allen gets his other teammates involved in the game, more so than a couple of the high scorers at other 10th Region schools. Allen at times plays (don't want to say lazy) a bit too laid back and could really score much more than he does if that is what he focused on. But maybe he is working to be that more complete player and not just a scoring machine.

Just an off night from deep but Allen will light it up when in the flow of the game . Last night he was just looking for his teammates .

Picked up his 1000th point against Augusta on Dec. 12, and scored #1500 last night.

I really like how Allen gets his other teammates involved in the game, more so than a couple of the high scorers at other 10th Region schools. Allen at times plays (don't want to say lazy) a bit too laid back and could really score much more than he does if that is what he focused on. But maybe he is working to be that more complete player and not just a scoring machine.

 

Once had a coach tell me he thought a kid was kind of lazy the first few practices. He than realized that the kid was so effortless looking that it looked like he was not hustling. His 5 steps to get to half court looked a lot easier than the 10 from the other kids, but he was still beating them down court. Allen reminds of that.

Love his game, super smooth and in control. His over all Demeanor was well in check too. He worked as a team the first half dishing the ball and running the show. Had a ton of rebounds as well. 3rd quarter he stepped up and tried to take control of the game after Brossart had put up a nice run in Q2. Did more slashing, shooting and a little more active with the ball. Had a big quarter in the points column, don't remember the tally for that quarter. Brossart had no answer for him except to hold their own. He had 4 fouls. 3 were offensive and the other was a cheap reach foul that never should have been called. Nice player and has a lot of upside as long as he keeps his head on straight.
