What you fail to understand is that this year's St. X team is even better than last year's edition, which may have been their best team ever. We're doomed. Doomed I tell you!!!

Well I better start digging my bomb shelter then. :walk:

Keys for T:

have to contain anderson can't stop him but contain.

Petrino has to be more consistent in big games, played great last state game, but look at the MBA's Manual's, and last X season game. A little inconsistent.

Protect Petrino

Keys for X:

Don't let petrino roll out

Give the ball to anderson

Better play great pass defense if petrino is on

** As always just my opinion, not an expert one at that

** Lets enjoy this week, and remember it’s a game, hard to believe but it is

This could be the best X - T matchup in years. Attendence could near or break 40k.

I'll go with the team that has radio coverage. :D X by a TD 31-24.

Wow - of the 12 that have picked a winner so far; it's X by 11 to 1.

11-1 so far in favor of the experts picking St.X . I guess the extra week off to prepare for the second straight year gives them the edge. Even though they are admitting to needing more time than Trinity to prepare for the big duel, the crystal ball says the Rocks WILL show up again. And let us remember, even if we win, we still might not have the best team . Argumentive verbage can always be used in the aftermath to proclaim yourself the winner , no matter what the outcome. So lets all have a good time at the game Friday night ! There will never be a true loser. Good Luck to all !

I don't know. If I'm not working I plan on attending, and I've never been to an X-T game before (sad for a Catholic Louisvillian, as pointed out by Peprock:lol: ).

I have a gut feeling that this game means more to Mike Glaser than it does to Bob Beatty. Not that Beatty doesn't WANT to win, it just that he has not been ingrained with this rivalry his entire life. This game is not the end-all for him - Beatty treats it more like the fifth game of the year (see 2005). The bye week helps also, so make it X by two touchdowns. (To his credit though, I don't know if there has ever been a coach in the state of Kentucky who has his teams ready in November like Beatty.)
