And those are exciting game and defense obviously couldn't make difference. I hate when people say play defense. They shot over 50%, you can't help that when shots are falling

Um. Pretty sure at least some bigly defense was missing in this one.

Good defense leads to less shots. Period. the shooting percentage is good, and that's great both teams able to do that. But that's an awful lot of shots.....

When I say play DEFENSE it means no matter what their shooting percentage, you limit the amount of open shots a team gets. If you are playing great defense it eliminates how quickly the team scores which eliminates this ridiculous score.

If you honestly prefer a 50-45 game over this, you're insane

Was you even there?

You're right, I'm wrong... terrible defense

There have always been games at all levels like this occcassionally. Doesn't mean coaches can't coach defense, players can't play defense, etc. Just like there are low scoring games. Doesn't mean teams are bad offensively.

Neither are a big deal at all, occassionally.

Agreed.

One game does not a player/season/coach make.

Nope.... terrible D, coaches should be embarrassed... this should never happen (sarcasm)

....and the 4-point basket for calling "swish". :lol2:

This score is ridiculous. Both coaches should be embarrassed. No way two high school teams should score that many points.

Please learn how to play DEFENSE!!!!

That a boy Ricky. :lol2:

Agreed. However, I watched PC play Ryle the other night, absolutely get befuddled by a box and one, make NO adjustments, and then people question Allen after the game for not being active enough. That, to me, was very telling.

Leevi Dunaway also had a great career night on 15/25 shooting and 12/14 from the line. Leevi became only the third player in Royal history to score 40 points. The other two were Ronnie Lyons and Chris Lofton.

I was in a hurry yesterday morning and missed two other players that scored in the forties for the Royals. Shawn Myrick scored 44 on 3/11/95 in the region finals against Montgomery Co. and Billy Ray Fawns scored 47. Also, Larry Myrick scored 41 against Paris on 1/12/99. I apologize for the mistake and Leevi was the fifth Royal to score in the forties.

Saw Shawn Myrick score his 44, but don't remember Larry Myrick scoring that many. Was that game at The Fieldhouse or in Paris?
