Louisville trying to make fans of opposing teams sit in back of their student section

Featured Replies

It makes sense. If anyone else on this board has played a high school basketball game at Elder they do opposing fans much worse.

Are Louisville's student seats first come first serve? If so, I don't blame them. If they are ticketed, reserved seats, I don't think they'd be able to do this.

They are.

When I was still there, you had specific seats. They went away from that several years ago, now students stand in line to get the best seats.

So?

Why is that wrong?

Now, if I could figure out how to keep UofL fans out of section 102 of the Sundome Sunday afternoon, I'd be a happy man. The women play here. It'll probably be like a Louisville home game. :(

I have no problem with it. That said, teams have been trying to keep UK fans out of their arenas for years and years. I don't think any of the attempts to do so have had much, if any success. This won't be much different.

Wouldn't combining all the Kentucky student-fans into a couple of rows actually make them louder and more prevalent than having them sitting as singles or couples here-and-there throughout the student section?
