Watching a show at Bogarts

Featured Replies

any tips or recommendations ? Going Friday night for Brothers Osborne .

Stand in the back to avoid the nonsense of feeling like you're in a pit, with constanstly getting bumped into and beer spilled on you.

Maybe it wouldn't be like that for the artist you are seeing.

Don't park at that Kroger. You will definitely be towed.

Brings back memories. Probably 20 years ago I dropped my son off at Bogart's for a Mighty Mighty Bosstones concert. When we picked him up, he told us that he got beer spilled all over him.

See if that gallon of Strawberry Hills Wine I puked up in the bathroom is still there.

I missed the whole Bang Tango and Brittany Fox concert because of it.

First concert I was ever allowed to drive out of town to with my friends was an Andrew WK show at Bogarts my senior year of high school.

I did some stage diving in my day at Bogart's. I miss my heavy metal days. The mosh pit was just crazy, almost like a fight but not getting in any trouble.

FYI, I don't see a mosh pit breaking out for Brothers Osbourne.

So many memories at Bogart's. Black eyes from the mosh pit, spilled beer, you name it.

Get there early and park on the outside of the parking garage just up the street. Go to Mio's and get stuffed pizza.

Never been! It is on my bucket list, along with Southgate house in Newport.

I think it has been renovated within the past several years. The venue is in Clifton and there are a lot of bars/restaurants surrounding it, although many are more college oriented. I'd recommend getting there early, finding a parking garage (not sure on where to park) and you can find a place to eat / grab a drink within walking distance.

Last time I was there was Jan. 2015 for Extreme (Pornograffitti Live - 25th Anniversary Tour) place was sold out. Got there early enough to grab a spot close to the stage against the wall, we had a garbage can that was our drink holder. :lol2:

With a capacity of 1400 and change it can get stuffy, but a great venue. Been there many times back in the day for some great shows.......Poison, Ratt, Cheap Trick.

Hopefully this link works, and you can see pictures of the place...... bogarts - Google Search

I've been there one time. Saw Squeeze which was a good show. Had to have been early 90's.

Ahem. Corryville.

I wish I could recall all the great shows I've seen at Bogart's. Seriously. I don't recall them all, as it was a bunch, and I wasn't always coherent.

Ahem. Corryville.

To be fair, I'm normally drinking & getting dropped off. Thanks, Uber.
