Trump sends out a tweet and you believe it hook, line and sinker, huh? It never ceases to amaze me how people know for a fact that black people aren't doing anything to help their community.

Trump sure wasn't worried about District 5 when he was trying to build a high rise there around 2006.

It never ceases to amaze me how a bunch of white BGP'ers think they understand anything and everything about the black experience.

Or amazes me that some on here think they know that white people living in the rural areas of Ky are dumb and uneducated because they didn't go to college. Amazes me how you think you know anything and everything about whites living in rural Ky.

The integrity of the recount was not questionable.

For who? It still is for me because something about it screamed peculiar and shady and though it's all now swept under the rug forgotten history and we just had to move on, some never felt that it was handled properly leaving many to wonder what was really the truth.

Seems he is trying to do a lot. Nice of him to keep working, unlike so many others.

Two sides to every story. I am sure he is trying to do a good job for his district, although if you really research him there are alot of the people in his district that say he is vermin.( see direct quotes from real people in the article I posted above).

However he is a hypocrite. He does exactly what he claims the other sides does. He also lies, as was proven by his recent comments. Does that make him vermin like alot say? I dont know him so I wont comment on that, but his actions about this election makes him look bad as a American, or at least to me.

Yes there are two sides. The Bills I saw he was sponsoring were some I liked. But I didn't go in depth to all of them.

Alot of bills to read through, some passed some did not. He by virtue of his time in Congress either introduced a lot of bills or co sponsored. There is good to be found in everyone if we all look hard enough. I think most start out with good intentions, till partisan politics become involved. Then the divide gets even more wide considering the way our country has went in the past 20 years or so with many divisions that has popped up. Lines are clearly drawn and it would appear neither side is gonna budge much. Shame. Stuff like this is bad for America. No other way around that, and I even think the left would agree.

People looking at it logically and rationally.

Can you expand on that?

Can you expand on that?

Bush won on initial count of the votes.

He won after the recount.

I'm sorry, but I can't take people seriously that think our country rigs elections. It defies all logic and takes the cake on crazy conspiracy theories.

Nothing at all questionable and peculiar about this debacle taking place in George's brother Jeb's state of Flordia?

Nothing at all questionable about Katherine Harris, the co-chair of Bush's election efforts in Florida overseeing the recount?

Sure, let's pretend the whole thing never happened and call it a conspiracy theory. The more years we get away from it we can continue to push the idea that there was nothing validly questionable about it.

Easy of course if the results are in your favor, if not you're left wondering if you've been duped or not with very little way of knowing for sure.

The election night results went firstly to Gore, then to Bush, then back to "too close to call", then back to Bush then to Gore calling for a recount. There was enough at play going on here than to be able to just write it off as illogical, and it's illogical to think that you can just write it off. To think that it's crazy to question it, that I can't take seriously.

I guess we have something in common at last then....

Neither of us takes the other seriously.

I'm not a big conspiracy person but the recount was never completed if I recall correctly. The Supreme Court ended the recount and declared the date passed. At least that's what my faulty memory recalls.

I accepted GWB as my President. No problem. I voted for him. But I think the Florida process was very shady in appearance if not in reality. :thumb:

Sure, just go with that and ignore the facts if it makes thing easier for you.
