January 8, 20179 yr My wife and I were in a discussion about who the most recognizable person in Greater Cincinnati (still lives here) is by locals and nationwide. I said Cris Collinsworth for both, she said Pete Rose local and Collinsworth nationally. Your thoughts? I gauged mine by commercials and billboards.

Love the baseball performance, complete moron from a manager standpoint betting on the game! From a purely human standpoint I'm nominating the Dr who brought the world the Heimlich maneuver...that move has and will save lives for generations to come! :dancingpa P.S. the folks who brought goetta, regional beers, and a for the most part solid family values of work ethic and moral code ( they rock as well )... :bunny:
January 8, 20179 yr Locally Jim Tarbell is pretty recognizable but not so much on a national level except for perhaps some old bands that might've played in the early 70's at the Ludlow Garage that Tarbell used to run.

January 8, 20179 yr It has been rumoured that George Clooney owns a condo in The Ascent on the riverfront in Covington, and though he's originally from Augusta (but attended U.C. and worked in the shoe dept of the old Shillito's downtown), his Aunt Rosemary got her start in Cincinnati and made her mark on the entertainment world, and his father Nick is well known in Cincy too, and if George does in fact at times live in Covington, he sure keeps a very low profile about it. He's certainly well known but it's not well known that he might live here from time to time, and no one seems to have been able to prove it for certain.
January 8, 20179 yr Somebody told me Sara Jessica Parker owns a penthouse in the tall building by the old courthouse in Covington.
