mcpapa
An older Dave Robicheaux novel that I somehow missed. 3.5 stars out of 4.

Clyde
Reading "Flash Boys" by Michael Lewis about how high frequency traders on Wall St use technology to take advantage of how the stock exchange works. Pretty interesting.
formerkywrestler
"Bad Sports: How Owners Are Ruining the Games We Love" by Dave Zirin Read this one when it first came out. Giving it another one to resolve my currently conflicted feelings of a partially-publicly-funded soccer stadium here in Louisville. Hoping I won't be confused after this. No public money for stadiums... not even Louisville City FC. Never knew you had a pen name...

formerkywrestler
Started Hillbilly Elegy early this morning and read until I had to get ready for work. Should be finished today or the next. Really enjoying it so far.
formerkywrestler
Halfway through this: The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival Great book. A look into a harsh region I am woefully unfamiliar with. Also, quite the thriller in parts. Only complaint is it occasionally dug too deep into the details and drug out a bit. BFritz
Not planning on reading any but I need to quit being lazy and finish writing mine. I think it will suck but, ever since the wreck, people have said I should write one. I was writing a lot of it but then I got sick for a month back in August (I think) where I couldn't do much besides lay in bed, and I just never started back on it. Scrivener will make it a lot easier. I mean, you'll still have to do the actual hard part. But, this helps a lot. And maybe shelling out a couple of bucks adds to the motivation. :lol2: Literature and Latte - Scrivener Writing Software | macOS | Windows | iOS
