Tony Jackson got the Q Goodin treatment from CCH. Coastal Carolina commit had 3 points.

Q Goodin treatment? What would that be?

Completely different game plan tonight. Fredrick face guarded Q last year and they ran another defender at him to double any time he touched the ball.

Tonight Covcath simply used a zone and as already stated, Tony Jackson was sick as a dog which also played a big role in his limited production.

I don't think North was on empty at all. Kids play all the time nowadays and playing back to back nights doesn't put you on empty by any means. These kids are teenagers. To speak on the North and John game last night I wasn't impressed by either team at all. They both look athletic as can be, but both struggle to score and find points. Especially John Hardin on offense. Jackson was by far the best player on the floor last night. He got to the rim and made several easy buckets. He was the difference in the game. He controlled the glass as well. I thought he showed up late when his team needed him.

North is on empty...played their cross town rival last night. Not to take anything away from Cov

Understandable. But that's poor scheduling on North Hardin's part. Cov Cath probably would win this regardless. But the beat down didn't have to be this bad.

When I looked at the match-up I never thought it would be a close game. Until Trace Young becomes eligible at NH, this is a team that if you take away Jackson or he has a bad game then they simply will not beat a good team. That will change when Trace begins to play, Tony needs help.

And it would be nice to see CCH full strength in this tourney as well.

Lol...you'll take any chance you can get at taking jabs at John Hardin and particularly one player on that team. Your indirect attempts to marginilize that kid is disappointing. Whether or not you were impressed doesn't take away from the fact that game is important to the kids from the two schools and they put alot of emotional energy into the game

I agree...North isn't very good yet...Won't be until Trace gets on board. As for the scheduling North wanted the John game pushed back but word is John refused...more fuel to the rivalry I guess. Either way Cov Cath would have won this game tonight maybe just not so bad

@coachlee How do you see the CovCath-FS game shaking out?

Cov Cath will win this one really big.

I agree with Hoop Junkie. Looking at the bracket this week I would have changed places with Cov Cath over anyone. I just did not see a close game with any of the other three teams in their pod.

I wasn't knocking anyone from John. I just stated they have trouble scoring at times, but so did North. If your referring to Pearson from John I thought he played well.

I disagree, I think F-S will very much be in this game beginning to end, and them winning wouldn't surprise me. CovCath not having their PG, against a team like F-S, could be a real detriment. This is also a game where 6th man Jack Davin would have been really important.
