I will say the media has done a good job of convincing everyone (except me I guess) that the Russians hacked Podesta's emails. I have no doubt the Russians have been trying to hack everything that is US Govt. However, I think it is more likely that Podesta's emails were leaked as an inside job. Julian has repeatedly said that the leak was not from a Russian (or any other government) source. I just heard him asked if he received stuff on Trump once he was president would he release it. His response was that if Trump ticked off someone in his administration and they leaked, he would release it...he basically slipped up and implied (by accident) that Podesta's leak was an inside job.

I heard she gave that to Russian Foreign Minister thinking that the top word in Russian meant reset. She did it because she said she wanted to reset US-Russian relations for the better but made a translation mistake.

To me it would just be common sense...

Everybody has a problem with the idea of Russia interfering in our elections but nobody bats an eye when Obama tried to interfere with Israel's election. Where is the outrage for our own government sending taxpayer money to an anti-Netanyahu group.

 

Oh and our government also participates in cyber activity against other countries as well. Biden all but as much back in October when talking about Russia's alleged involvement in hacking the DNC and Podesta.

Why should I care about Israel's election? Are we the America who claims and takes pride in being the #1 superpower in the world or are we fine with being behind China and Russia in the superpower rankings? Shouldn't we be influencing everyone's elections? We have invaded countries and pushed democracy on multiple countries for centuries. Why should we stop now? Israel is an ally but we shouldn't be influencing their elections? Either we are the greatest and influence other's elections or we allow Russia and China to dictate who leads us.
