I'm still stuck overseas but from what i've read the last couple of weeks JC in a blow out and also congrats on the win JC! :banana: I see some people having LC scoring twice on JC IMO I highly doubt it. I believe coach Matney will be looking for a first game of the district shut out. As us boys call it "the egg".

I've been hearing that some of L.C.'s starters have been talkin' smack, saying how there going to take out some of J.C.'s starters (names mentioned have been Grimm, Dials, Dillon and Ratliff, but he's already out). JC's will not come into this game overlooking Lawrence and I believe our defense has another dominating performance.

 

JC will have a few of their missing starters back this week. You know what bodes well for JC........ we still have not played a game with all of our starters in.

I've been hearing that some of L.C.'s starters have been talkin' smack, saying how there going to take out some of J.C.'s starters (names mentioned have been Grimm, Dials, Dillon and Ratliff, but he's already out).

 

I don't think so. I don't see these kids wanting to "take out anybody". You know how things can get started and just get blown out of proportion. They want to beat JC, but not like that. These kids are good kids, let's not stir the pot.

LC is struggling right now. I look for JC to handle the Bulldawgs.

I hope that if that is the case that it lights a fire in JC's rear and having them coming out swinging from the get go. I hope this isnt true but boy what fuel it will add to the fire if it is. All of LC's weaknesses play into JC's strengths. JC can name the score in this one if they come ready to play at kickoff.

4 years ago, if somebody would have told me that JC would have a football program like they do now, I would have called that person a liar. Lawrence County has had a tough time this year against some tough teams. The last time JC played @ LC in the '01 season, Brenton Dials left the game with a concussion and Scott Stratton left the game a with a shoulder injury. Both injuries came not as a result of cheap shots or playing dirty, just some big hits and good plays by LC. No coach or player envolved with football should ever want to or try to injure any player. Both JC and LC should respect each other, no matter what their records are, play hard and to the best of their ability.

Dr. Jason Rice and trainer Joe Taylor keeps a pretty good eye on all of the athletes at JC. No matter what sport. If a player gets hurt, these 2 are right there to make sure that they get healthy before returing. Staph infections and a broken collar bone are about the extent of the injuries.

I know it is still 5 days until the game, weather.com is showing mostly sunny skies and a high of 80 degrees. The overnight low is 59 with a 20% chance of precipitation. Should be a good night for football.
