I asked if you hoped trump did well? I stated , more or less, that it's sad that people in this country hope it goes into chaos because they are distraught because there candidate lost. THAT stance is not very pro America.

I don't really like many of Trump's policies, so I do hope he fails with those. That's not unAmerican.

I'm still struggling because your failing to acknowledge where or not you hope he has a successful presidency.

I understand your point regarding certain policies however that really depends upon what they are.

Hoping he fails against Isis is entirely different than disagreeing with his stance on abortion

But yet when the current administration does the investigation, reports their findings and then gives more details in their Lesson Learned files for the Trump administration to not make the same mistakes it becomes, "well they should have stopped it."

 

You can't stop something you don't know about and if the White House could have stopped it don't you think they would have? They only benefit from stopping it more than anyone else but they failed to stop it and paid the price in multiple ways. The Russians hacked both parties and have information on both parties and who knows what all that is. You don't think at some point they will use whatever information we don't know about for leverage in who knows what? This is bigger than sorry old Hillary Clinton and for all these folks wanting Trump to prove himself a success they should be more concerned about this than the left leaning babies in the media crying over Hillary.

 

I am very worried about countries hacking us. I made the point about the adminstration to prove how silly it is for the media to insinuate the hacking is Trumps fault. It isn't really fair to blame either. But if the media wants to go that route why not ask the questions about the adminstration as well.

 

I have many problems with Trump . But the idea that he is in anyones pocket is really ignoring both his biggest strength and his biggest weakness.

Countries try to hack each other all the time. We do it, hell every country with an internet connection does. And guess what, they are successful sometimes. The only reason we know anything is because these were given to wikileaks. Y'all need to stop acting like the world is going to end like it's something new. If we new the half and depths of the national espionage business by us and other nations our heads would explode. Ignorance is bliss.

The NSA (or someone in the US Government) got caught hacking the German Government...what was our administration looking to do with that info?

 

The DNC or RNC isn't even a Government agency, in the end if the DNC didn't have so much dirty laundry the hacks wouldn't have amounted to much.

 

Is this a dangerous precedent? Absolutely

 

Did the Wiki Leaks sway the election? I doubt it. They just reinforced what one side already thought about the others tactics and true feelings. No Democrat that I know was upset enough about the Leaks to decide to vote for Trump and it didn't cause them to stay home as HRC ended up with nearly the exact same vote count that President Obama received in 2012.

My leg is that both took sensitive information and were careless with it. Yet we're cool with one being in the administration but not the other. I get it.

Last I checked Russia has not attacked us. Be cynical if you must but how many American lives has Russia taken from us? Why are they an enemy. Cold war is over.
