I have to go with the tomcats on this one. They have been playing pretty well here lately!

What is pburg's record?

1-2

Do you know the opponents and scores???

I know they beat Paintsville and they lost to Pikeville and possibly Leslie Co?

Besides this past week at Portsmouth West, Ashland hasn't won a game by a convincing margin. Tomcat fans should be proud of the wins against Belfry and Russell, but they should also recognize that those game could have went either way. I see them beating Pburg .. I will take a score of 35-14!

While this is true, good teams find ways to win close games. A win is a win regardless of whether it is by 1 point or 50 points.

Is it me or has it been a little quiet on here about Ashland this year?

I would like to see someone post a couple pics of some games and the Putnam field on here.

Mine are all from last year. I'm curious what is on the 50 yd line this year?

If you haven't seen the paint graphics on LSU's field.....awesome.

LSU's field graphics are my all time favorite too, GCT...

You are exactly right! I'll take Ashland in this one...........BIG! Ashland will be able to name their score.

Ashland = 46

P-Burg = 8

Cats still need to play hard nose football for four quarters.....we have a lot of skill players and that's what we're living on. P-burg may not have the skilled players, but they will bring an attitude to the field. Don't forget the sideline play, P-burg will have several tricks up their sleeves. Also, it'll be great to see Luke Bonner back on the field in two weeks.

I never said a win wasn't a win, and congratulated the Tomcats. But one would be crazy not to recognize that the games with russell and belfry could have easily went the other way. :thumb:

I watched Prestonsburg play Paintsville on a tape-delayed basis on Prestonsburg's t.v. channel. Both teams had little speed and both teams had a hard time tackleing. Prestonsburg is much improved from last season, but Ashland is way too much for them.

Ashland 42

Prestonsburg 14
