Corbin 78 Lexington Catholic 75

So, did Saltzman get t'd with LexCath still having a shot at winning? I mean the final score was 3 point win for Corbin, that was with a tech called with 5 seconds left in the game, I assume shots and the ball back for Corbin...game had to be close.

You are correct. LC was up a point or two when the techs were called.

Holy crap.

Lex Cath up 2 with 5 sec left . Corbin kid gets fouled. He'll get 2 shots to try to tie. Then a tech on lex Cath kid - then tech on coach

A two shot foul turns into six.

Sorta makes u wonder

Lexington Catholic is much better then they are showing. Not having Luke Johnson in any game regardless of who they were playing really hurts them in more then just the scoring column. Also, at Covington Catholic is no easy game for anyone and traveling to play at Corbin against a good Corbin team is tough as well. Never good to be in a close one late in the game on the road out of region. I think we all know that. The Knights will be fine. They are deserving of the preseason ranking they were given.

Lex Cath was up 2, Taylor drove to the basket, missed, got the rebound and a foul(no idea if it was a legit foul or not) was called with 5 seconds left. The Lex Cath player was t'ed up, ref should have let it go in my opinion, but I didn't hear what he said either. The worst case scenario would have been Catholic's ball with 5 seconds left and a tie game without the T.:idunno: The coach got his T after Taylor had already gone to the line to shoot the first 2 shots.

Corbin around the 12th 13th 14th is well known for late game how did that just happen stuff

I saw Trevon Faulkner get 5 charging fouls down there against Corbin. I have never seen 5 charges on one player in my life. Taylor gets the Jordan treatment by refs in that region.

Was this game at Corbin?

yes

Well that answers all the questions I had :lol2:

Someone told me Lex Cath had 10 charging calls- not confirmed but if it's true----jeez.

That's ridiculous! So when you play at Corbin you should probably plan on getting an L.

There are a few places like that in regions 13-16
