Is the Branson girl a slapper? I am trying to place her. Congrats to her regardless!

I'm curious because there was a very good slapper who played for the Kentucky Softball team and played a pretty decent SS.

As far as high school ball, she never slapped in all the games I've seen her play.

Was chasing Northern Ky's own 2017 grad Kennedy Baugh , having hard time getting her to visit . Currently have high interest in 2018 Carly Turner for sure . We finished second to two other Static kids the past year . Both throwers -- Syd Stefanich who went D1 to either Western or Eastern Mich , and Audrey ___ ? went to ONU . Love Love love Peighton Hamm as well. Would die to have her .

Congrats MacLai! Quite a few players from the 98 EMR team to be playing at the next level. In addition, Irons -Sinclair, Dutcher- Denison, Haley Richardson (reading) Transylvania, Dezarn-U of the Cumberlands and I'm sure Kennedy Carson will be offered. Nice job ladies!

She is definitely not a slapper. RH batter with great approach at the plate..... hits ball hard but not necessarily a power hitter. Dad will be looking to get her to right side more and she will have it all going then, lol. She is a superb fielder at SS with great hands and excellent arm. Very strong baserunner, loads of talent for sure.....good luck MaClai !

Yes, I said about 2 weeks ago that I had the wrong kid. Good luck to her.

I saw her play against Highlands in the regional and she looked like the best player on the field to me.. She was very smooth in the field with a strong arm..

With Coffey gone, Maclai has to be the best SS in this area.

Congrats to her! She was doing some cage work last year that a few of my girls were able to sit, watch, and learn. My jaw hit the floor when I was informed she was just a sophomore.
