Not to beat this horse anymore, especially in a thread dedicated to Cal's championship, but...

 

Beechwood may play privates, but none stand in their path to a championship, at least not currently. Talent focused in Louisville is MUCH better than what's spread out in northern Kentucky. Kids know and parents are figuring out that "junior" can play in Louisville 2A and start as a sophomore instead of backing up for a couple of years at Louisville 6A. I mean you can only put 11 on the field at a time, why be one of 89 waiting on the sideline at T or X when you can get on the field right away at DeS or Cal. And let's face it, football talent in the privates is loaded in 2A and 6A.

By the way, congrats CAL.

Here is my take on game. First off congrats to CAL. Heck of a defense and Wright is a future D1 guy. The Cal DE's kept the ads from getting deep. After that I truely believe that the Ads beat themselves. Bad snaps which have hurt the Ads all year killed them today. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot, the Ads blew both feet off today. As for the Ads I thought their defense played very well except for Wrights first TD and his passing TD. The Ads had a good offensive gameplan

I thought until they got away from it.

Overall great season for the ADS, and watch out next year for Danville they will be back.

It's great to see CAL becoming a football power in their class. When I graduated from there, they didn't even have a football team, so they've definitely come a long way.

Congrats to the Centurions. It's hard to keep Wright contained for four quarters. I believe I am correct on this...during the playoffs, he scored TDs rushing, receiving, on punt returns and on an interception return. He threw for a TD yesterday. He's a game changer in so many aspects of the game.

Yep, lots of kids and plenty of private schools to choose from.

Kids can go to any school they want in the county, public or private....as it should be. You don't OWN a kid simply by where his parents choose to reside.

Don't fall victim to the scuttlebutt. A lot of folks seem to be taking this loss really hard and are having a hard time accepting defeat. Did they get a new kicker? Not sure. Did it matter? Most likely no.

Agreed. Some of the things I have heard people saying made me mad and we all know I don't qualify as a Danville fan. Folks have so much to be proud of with this team and their coaching staff. They aren't done yet!!!!

Yeah I wasn't happy with it either. I do think Danville shot themselves in the feet several times, but it certainly wasn't because of a kicker controversy.
