I know for a fact that a starter on a recent state championship team was ineligible all season academically but they kept playing him.

Am I supposed to drive up to the KHSAA offices and say "Hey guys the AD is blatantly ignoring these grades because he only cares about winning but they've played an ineligible kid all year"?

Not saying you are wrong and it is possible for a player to have been ineligible but if they go by KHSAA standards a kid could have 2 Fs and the rest be Ds and be eligible.

Almost impossible to legislate...most teachers don't input grades daily or weekly.

I don't rely on the school, coach or KHSAA to determine if my kid is academically eligible to play. If you are not passing your classes not playing. Period. #ParentEligibleRule

same with Pendleton. Secretary would have my report printed every Friday morning when I got there. If you played for me, and saw me on planning during Friday...prolly not a good thing.

Pendleton allowed you to have one "F". 2 and you were ineligible for that week.

 

Just because the school says your ineligible, doesn't mean you're playing for me with 1.
