December 9, 20169 yr Author Yes or no question. No need for a dissertation, book report or blog. Simple yes or no question. Is the economy currently considered healthy? Yes or no. Doesn't matter how, why or who did what. On 12/5/16 is the US economy considered healthy? Yes or no. This isn't a yes or no question. Very much more detailed. But if I had to pick I'd say it's neither but with the possibility of heading south quick.
December 9, 20169 yr Author What do you guys use to determine if the economy is bad? There are a whole host of indicators one can use. So this really isn't a easy question. But the GDP growth scares me , particpation rate is alarming , also the amount of cash on the sidelines in corporate America tells me the market isn't friendly to business. My biggest issue with the government and this isn't only on Obama is the ridiculous way they calculate unemployment rate and inflation. No serious analyst uses their numbers for decision making. With the markets I usually don't think it's as bad as most and I normally don't think it's as good as most.
