Hoping Beechwood brings home the Title for NKY, only School playing for the Title this season.

Hazard wins and Corey Smith has a big game.I have not seen Beechwood this year but everyone talks about how small they are.But they are doing something right because they are playing for the championship plus this is Beechwood we are talking about.Something tells me Smith will have just as big of a game as Pugh(Pikeville) did last year.Good luck to both teams and hopefully no injuries.

very true. Also Holy Cross Covington this year was quite the team. I definitely believe BW has played a harder schedule and proven themselves through it. That win against Holy Cross has bigger weight than any hazard has to offer.

Interesting. Do you think they have more coming back next year than Beechwood? Beechwood is very young.

 

Just looking at the key pieces and before this game is played, YES I give the edge to Hazard

 

 

Obviously if Beechwood beats them by 40 or a convincing margin that may shift..but man alive the Bulldogs are going to be loaded it appears next year.

I realize Hazard is playing much better now than they were then, but, Beechwood is also playing very well right now. They dominated a very good(not great) Russellville team and their D is playing lights out.. I like the Beechies in this one 42-14

Then hazard had a few starters out with injury and 1 who was not released to play... Hazard now has it's starting O-line healthy for the most part and the kid eligible has been eligible for about 6-7 games now.

Burch has covered a lot of real estate as well!

The biggest mistake BW can make is overlooking johnson to focus on smith. That dude is tall and has great hands. could be an issue for undersized DBs, especially if its any type of jump ball pass. he wins a jump ball and maybe even gets away from the first tackle.

Well son, This is the smallest BW has been on quite awhile! They've typically had some big seniors to help! Just not this year! Maybe you've been tracking a different team? Anyway good luck to both! It's gonna be a hard fought game to say the least!

I have gone to 3 Beechwood games. This team is faster than any of the ones of past ones in recent memory that I can remember.

 

I agree it will be a hard fought game to say the least. Just because the Tigers are small doesn't mean anything on the turf with their speed.
