Study says White police officers don't unfairly target black suspects.

Some points from the study.

Among the findings of the investigation released Thursday by the Crime Prevention Research Center: White police officers are not significantly more likely to shoot black suspects; body cameras have had little effect on decreasing police killings; the more cops at the scene, the less likely it is a suspect will be shot.

I guess that more cops at scene = less shootings.

Body cameras have no effect in a shooting.

White cops dont target black people.

Could you?

I like to hear everyone's opinion.

White cops dont target black people.

In reading the Fox news link I don't think it says they don't "target."

I think it says that in the two time period they used the rates were the same.

This was the headline I used by Fox.

White police officers don't unfairly target black suspects, study says

Yes they do.

Yes they do.

Facts, and this study disagree with you.

Does it tell us anything in that area? If so, can you point it out?

Even with the "facts", this is Fox opinionated trash. Targeting may be a strong word to use, but they definitely profile or misjudge which can lead to bad situations on both ends.

Fox didn't do the study, William and Mary College did.

Fox only reported it because the other media outlets won't because it won't fit their agenda of trying to make all white cops racist.

Again, where did it say blacks were not being targeted ?

It didn't have to because they aren't. Cops aren't waking up in the morning thinking or hopin they get to go kill a black person.
