Rematch is for the Regional Title and will be played at JC. First meeting saw JC wrap up the District Title by a final of 43-6. In game 1 Ashland scored first, but JC rolled off 43 straight to get the running clock. Will we see more of the same or will Ashland pull the upset.

Thoughts?

JC will give the Tomcats their 2nd beatdown this season from the Golden Eagles.

Ashland's football season unfortunately will come to an end in Paintsville!

Think this one maybe a little closer than the first meeting due to the fact that I think Ashland will have a better game plan on containing the pass rush JC destroyed them with last meeting. Ratliff is a very dangerous player when given ample time. Ashland also has a lot of nice athletes. I still expect JC to put up a lot of points this go around.

I'll take JC by 28.

Rough one for the Tomcats! JC just too STRONG!!! BG BOUND!!!!

Heart says CATS head says JC. Upsets happen and it would be a huge one if the CATS could pull it off. Ashland to win will have to play a near perfect game and get lots of help from JC. It's don't see JC giving Ashland that much help.

Will Ashland at least put up a fight this time around?

@LRCW

Just don't see JC losing this game.

JC 49

Ashland 21

I'm confident the Tomcats will play hard and give it their all, but I honestly don't think it will be enough to keep it close.

Johnson Central 49

Ashland 14

As much as I want to see Ashland play Thanksgiving week, I think that the football players that play basketball will be suiting up come next Monday. Johnson Central is just too strong for Ashland to handle. I hope they prove me wrong, I really do. I just don't think it's going to happen. I do, however, think Ashland puts up more than just 6 points this meeting.

I have no doubt Ashland will be back in contention in the next 2 years! As for this one though it's kinda lopsided!

I just don't see a way for Ashland to reverse the result from a month ago. JC's too strong and physical where it matters most.

Ratliff's legs are a game changer. But, how much of his running will be on his own terms? If the Tomcats are going to have a shot, Ratliff has to have a monster game. He's got to open things up for the other half of the running game, i.e. Noah Roberts. Make some strong throws to Dowdy and maybe Colburn. Those are the speed guys they need to get the ball to in space. They'll need that speed because I don't see them matching muscle with JC.

Ashland's O line HAS to STEP UP in this one and give Rattliff some time to work! The young QB has great talent but it doesn't matter how Good a teams QB is if their constantly getting pressured! Protect the QB and keep turnovers to a minimum and Ashland MIGHT be able to stay close! Just an awful BIG job to handle against JC! The Eagles have really stepped it up a level this year!

Good luck to the Tomcats. You guys always have our (Raceland) support but I'm afraid JC is just too tough. JC by 4+ TD's.

Game day! Let's see what we can do. We win, we play at Putnam next Friday. Hope we can pull off the upset.
