Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Is it fair to assume that Louisville St. X would throttle Elder??? I think so...
FairFan Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 I dont know about "throttle", but it seems they should beat them.:thumb:
NEERFAN Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 They should beat Elder but close rivals like that rarely win by a bunch.
Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 To clarify, I am talking about Louisville St. X...
Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 ^^^No prob, should have put it in the thread title. Maybe a mod can do it for me.:thumb:
ram2003 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 I don't think they'd "throttle" them, but I'd pick X for the win.
malachicrunch Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 To clarify, I am talking about Louisville St. X... Didn,t know they played each other.
theguru Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Is it fair to assume that Louisville St. X would throttle Elder??? I think so... I think we need to wait and see what X does against Highlands this week. Under your logic I guess you think Bowling Green would throttle Elder too...
Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 Under your logic I guess you think Bowling Green would throttle Elder too... Not at all. My analysis went a little deeper than the X/BG score.
theguru Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Either way, we need to wait and see what X does against Highlands this week.
Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 Didn,t know they played each other. They don't. Hence the phrase "would throttle" rather than "will throttle".
Booge Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 Either way, we need to wait and see what X does against Highlands this week. I agree we will know more as the season goes on. Just some extremely early speculation on my part.
LSURock Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I would never speculate that any team from Kentucky would throttle any GCL team. The fact is Elder may be "down" by Elder standards and still beat two pretty "up" NKY teams. X could maybe beat Elder, but lets look at recent history. In 2004 eventual state champ X's only loss was to a so-so Moeller team and by a wide margin. In 2003 a so-so Cincy St.X team defeated a Brohm led and eventual state champion Trinity team. I think we can all agree that its a different brand of football up there.
