I've never called you a name because you oppose abortion. I'm not a religious person, but respect people who are. I don't believe you are racist simply because you disagree with Obama's policies. I agree that something needs to be done to secure not only our southern borders, but entry into our country all together.

 

I'm not saying you haven't experienced those things, because I believe you probably have. But you choose to see what you want to in the other side. If i listened to the extremists on the right, I'd believe I was on welfare, had a free phone from Obama, and illegally came into America by jumping a fence...

I think he's a good person. I just think he was in way over his head on the job of POTUS. I think he means well but surrounded himself with advisers that were yes men instead of telling him what the truth was.

I think you and I want basically the same things, we just disagree on how to get there. I'm willing to listen to anything that is reasonable. I'm an odd conservative. Fiscally conservative while being somewhat socially liberal. Maybe socially moderate-liberal would be a better way to put it.

I believe that the figure I cited included all American losses, including corporations, individuals, churches, etc. I am not sure whether it included American government property, but I suspect that private losses constituted most of the total. (I was surprised that the estimate was not higher.)
