Obama's Accomplishments

Featured Replies

^Example of someone who was never going to give Obama a chance, way before he was ever elected.
Anybody who familiarized themselves with Obama's checkered past knew what he would do with his "chance." Nobody is entitled to the presidency.

And if you are a black man or a woman, even winning an election(s) doesn't mean you are entitled to the office bestowed upon you by the voters. They will just say that "he was born in Kenya" or "this election is rigged"

Regardless of one's color or sex, voters disregard experience and qualifications at their own peril. That was true when Obama ran for the presidency and it is true now, as primary voters selected the two worst qualified nominees in history.

Collecting job titles for a resume and performing poorly in those positions does not entitle anybody to the presidency. The two major parties have once again failed to provide good choices to American voters. Hillary and her friend Donald are benefiting from a broken system.

He managed to not get assissinated despite numerous attempts on his life.

But you can judge someone and it's completely fine? :ohbrother:

What?

Americans can now bring home Cuban cigars.

I imagine without Obama we would have maintained the icy relationship with a communist nation 90 miles from our coast forever.

What?

Refer to your post #6.

Agreed. I'll never understand the mentality that we should have as many enemies as possible if they have different beliefs or government as the USA.

That's not whatl it was PP92. It was mostly the human rights violations. Which continue today, btw.

Human rights violations happen in every single country every single day. Including two of the most powerful countries in Russia and China. I don't see us ever treating them the way we treated Cuba though....

Cuba also seized $1.8 billion in American-owned assets (worth $6-7 billion in current dollars) and has never compensated Americans for their losses. The close proximity of Cuba to the U.S. is a good reason to treat the Cuban government differently than China and Russia.

Pretty sure we weren't getting that money back and they weren't changing their ways on the pathe we were on. It had worked so well for 60 years.

Is Obama's approach getting that money back? Will it result in improved human rights for the Castro's political prisoners? To say that Obama's negotiating skills are non-existent is to give him the benefit of doubt.

He has 69 years to beat the last plan. :lol2:
