South Laurel actually hit the winning FG but was called for a false start. PC blocked the 2nd attempt.

With :08 left in the game, Pulaski leading 28-27, South Laurel attempted a 20yd FG that was good. However, there was false start penalty that pushed it back 5 yards. The 25yd FG attempt was blocked on the last play of the game. South Laurel played their guts out! Coach Burdine has that team headed in the right direction. Pulaski looked disinterested in all facets of the game. Stupid penalties, arm tackles, dropped passes, blown coverages and costly mental errors all night long. A win is a win, tho.

Not what Rockcastleraiders is trying to say. What he means is everyone laughed and thought Rock isn't even on the same level as Pulaski and has no chance of beating them before we ever even played them and when he said we should have won the game after it was over everyone gave the same

Reaction yet we beat south laurel by 4 touchdowns and SL actually really beat Pulaski last night and the false start cost SL the game as the first attempt was good. When he is asking if there are any doubts now he is referring to how SL only lost by 1 point and yet we beat SL by 4 scores. Which goes back to what we all said when we thought we won. None of that matters at this point and we will live with the 7-1 record and just keep grinding thru the rest of our opponents the same way we have been since we lost. Chayse didn't play qb against Pulaski and if he was the starting qb for that game then the out come would have been different. We are 7-0 with him at qb. Anyways sounds like the PC vs SL game was a good one to watch means next week for PC vs Southwestern it not only will determine first place but should give a good indication of who will play in the region final in a few short weeks.
