Your exactly right. This team has a never give up attitude!Coach Harp and his Coaches will get the early season mistakes under control! This is a great bunch of kids that are still learning as they go. Great win Ads! I can't wait until next Friday night to play Somerset.

How many receiving yards did Miller have?

I just have one thing to say; Josh Miller is a MAN. He owned that game. With that game film he should be recruited by a lot of big schools. WOW. I was impressed. I would think the coaches might want to tell the guys in the fourth quarter, "Hey guys... keep your eye on 21. He's pretty good." How could they allow him to get behind them on that last TD? That last one amazed me.

I totally agree! Especially when he drug about 7 guys into the endzone, two of which asked for a piggy back ride. On the other side of the ball, Jacob Bryant was flawless at the tight end poistion of the Admirals, and the Admirals offensive line seemed to bake up pancakes like a country diner.:p

I was at the game last night and have a couple of things to say.

1. Congrats to D-ville the team that puts the most points on the board wins.

2. Their D-fense is the key to their season. They played very well up front last night. #21 was very impressive. He is small but plays BIG.

3. They had better improve their secondary or someone(else) will burn them.

Boyle Co.

1. There is no excuse after getting one punt blocked and another that should have been blocked at Harrison to continue to let that happen. I know Danville has to get some of the credit, and they should, but it should happen once and that's all.

2. Both teams came to play and played hard but both secondary's need work.

3. Boyle's offense seems to be improving.

I really do not agree with the pancake reference:confused: Almost all of D-villes ground yards on those spread plays to the outside. Both teams pass protection seemed good and Dvilles lb's are tough but I thought the line play was pretty even.

In your eyes what is a pancake?

Excellent game, just what you hope to see when these two get together. I honestly thought Danville would win big but Boyle co. really impressed me with their determination. This game could have been over early witht he two blocked punts but Boyle refused to quit. As others have said Boyle hurt themselves and that was the difference in the game. Danville dropped a number of passes that were on target. Danville QB was impressive! Boyle D-line was too. I am looking forward to watching Boyle and Mercer hook up. Mercer is more similar to Danville which makes for another great matchup and potetially another great high school football game. Better get there early though because old "Scottie" field is not quite as nice as Admiral Stadium!

Pancakes? Bring them to me, I love pancakes.

Oh, about the game, what can you say, just a great great game between two great programs, yes the team I was pulling for loss, but am so proud of the effort they made, could have and maybe should have won, but give Danville credit for coming up with the stop when they needed to there at the end. And the fans for once they were in the game, so many times I have complain about the fans being too quiet, or not making any noice and cheering for their team, but that was not the case last night, good job fans, you also made me proud.Go Rebels, win the next game.

I really thought Boyle was in trouble after falling behind early with the blocked punts. But they showed alot of grit to make it one heck of a game. I'm not the coach but I was surprised with them going for 2 with 10 minutes left and a 1 point deficit. But, if it had worked then that would have been huge for the team. But, I think Boyle is still one heck of a team and they concern me with their run defense. Except for a couple of times Danville's speed in the backfield wasn't a big factor. I thought the Boyle run D was disciplined. Good luck to both teams except for Boyle on the 15th.

a pancake , um not to sure how to explain , but when an offensive linemen is guarding or blocking a defensive linemen, and the offensive linemen pushes him over on his back ... danville had alot of these, everyone on the o-line contributed, but boyle did fair good on the run defense, but the defensive line was takin care of most the night by danvilles o-line

I don't know and wasn't there so you might be right. But just how many yards on the ground did those pancakes produce? If I remember hearing the stats correctly Danville had only 271 yards offense for the game. Quite a few of those were passing yards. With all those stacks of pancakes shouldn't they have gained more?

I can understand your confusion Hatz - let's take a look at the total picture here.

Danville Rushing yards - 165 Boyle County Rushing yards - 183

Total yards - 349 Total yards - 512

First Downs for Danville - 13 First Downs for Boyle - 15

comp-Att-int - 9-18-1 comp-Att-int - 8-16-0

Fumbles -Lost - 6-2 Fumbles - Lost - 2-1

Penalities - Yards 8-49 Penalities - yards - 4-35

Sorry - but I just don't see any "pancakes" in these statistics;) Seems to me that our defensive line took care of their business and I don't think the offensive line was too bad either.;) You can call this game any which way you want but the bottom line is that both of these teams played a heck of a game and either one could have won. Which only shows why we as fans of these two teams should be proud:thumb:

As a past player, and a fan I never thought that I would be please after a loss. Right now I feel as if Boyle won, maybe not on the scoreboard, but the improvment from last week was way more than I expected. I think the players confidence has to be up (lets face it, it couldn't get any lower after the Henry Clay game) After all, the season that really counts starts at home with Southwestern. I can truely say that I feel 10 times better now, than I did last week. :ylsuper:

Awesome game baby (with a capital A). The Rebels showed tremendous resolve by answering the bell after spotting the Ads 14 points in the first 3 minutes of the game. Hopefully, for BC this is the beginning of some great things to come. Excellent job from the Seniors tonight.

Congratulations to the Ads on a hard fought victory, but I really think there offense is over dependent on the big play. Not once did they have a significant sustained scoring drive. There defense was on the field most of the night. This should be cause for some concern if your an Admiral fan. What happens when the big plays aren't there? Will they be totally shut down? Nonetheless, the Ads were on top where it counted (scoreboard), and hats off to them although they were beat soundly in every other facet of this game.

Good luck Rebels, against Lafayette.
