Actually most of us knew what a pancake block was. Our questioning came as a result of no one agreeing with you.

Awesome game baby (with a capital A). The Rebels showed tremendous resolve by answering the bell after spotting the Ads 14 points in the first 3 minutes of the game. Hopefully, for BC this is the beginning of some great things to come. Excellent job from the Seniors tonight.

Congratulations to the Ads on a hard fought victory, but I really think there offense is over dependent on the big play. Not once did they have a significant sustained scoring drive. There defense was on the field most of the night. This should be cause for some concern if your an Admiral fan. What happens when the big plays aren't there? Will they be totally shut down? Nonetheless, the Ads were on top where it counted (scoreboard), and hats off to them although they were beat soundly in every other facet of this game.

Good luck Rebels, against Lafayette.

I pretty much agree with your post except that the Ads did have one sustained drive in the 2nd half.

I was hoping you would know what a pancake is, basic football 101 you know. When the offensive line decided to block for the Admirals there were plenty of pancakes, but when they played lakidasikal(sp?) is when you saw excess fumbles and stops.

What game were you watching to not see those black jerseys skidding across the grass?

In the end though, I really don't think one team deserved to lose. They both played there hearts out, represented there schools in an excellent manner(except for the occasional sock) but other then that im real proud with the way both teams played, and the hard work ethic they showed.

Obviously I was at a totally different game than you were. I did not see any black jerserys skidding across the grass anymore than I saw a lot of blue jersery skidding across the grass. I think if you look at the rushing yardage for both teams - which was almost even - then I just don't see a lot of papcakes in the mix. What I did see was two teams fighting their hearts out for a game that they both wanted. For me to say that one team was better than the other would, in my opinion, take something away from both teams and I would never do that:thumb:

I hate to tell you this Phil but Rebel86 probably knows more about what it takes and what it means to "pancake" the guy in front of him than you might. He was one of the better linemen to come out of Boyle County and did a good job of putting the people in front of him on their backs. You might consider that the next time your sarcasm runs loose.

I was at the game and it was a great one. Glad I got to see it, but Danville needs to work on the pass defense some. They seem to get it together at the end when it counted.

If you all get the get the time, just take a little gander at it tonite on Channel 6. You'll might change your mind when you see it from the home teams side persepective.

I did take a gander and I still stand by my earlier posts:thumb:

If Phil saw a black jersey skidding across the grass, he wasn't at Admiral Stadium friday night. Unless I got a bad case of color blindness there was no black jerseys friday night. I was close to the action friday night, no team won the line of scrimmage that I saw. I'd say it was pretty even, but than again I don't think I was the same game where black jerseys were skidding across the grass that Phil saw.

I'm beginning to question if I have color blindness myself because, like you Rebel, I just didn't see what he thinks he saw. Perhaps you and I were somewhere else. Nah, I remember me in the stands and I recall seeing you on the field. That was you there wasn't it:confused:

Yea so I give up . LOL enough about the dern pancackes :thumb:
