2016 continues to be very similar to 2015 for John Hardin, who dropped to 1-3 after a loss to 6A power PRP a week ago. So far, the only result that has flipped from 2015 was North Hardin, and they'll hope to flip another in Central Hardin, 28-21 winners over John Hardin a year ago. That ultimately became the turning point for the Bulldogs, who did not lose again until the region finals. This year they'll get Central Hardin fresh off their first loss of the year, a tough 27-20 OT loss to 4A #2 South Warren. In that sense, it will help the Bulldogs have an early read on where they fall in the 4A elite pecking order, and their last true test before Christian County in the week's final game. It's a big time rivalry in Hardin County - who takes it?

Central Hardin bounces back this week. Central Hardin 28 and John Hardin 15

Have to go with Central Hardin at this point. More disciplined, better coached, and just play together as a team.

I'll take John Hardin

Is Hardin County "open enrollment"? It seems that John, North and Central all "yo/yo" up and down. Who is good changes quite often.

My thoughts exactly hoss. They are still unorganized and undisciplined. They cut down on the unsportsmanlike penalties last week, but I'm seeing a lot of missed blocks and tackles. They have to get those things fixed.

Central Hardin. Physicality wins out over athleticism in this one. Just don't think John can match Central at the line of scrimmage. The weight room will be the tale of the game.

Whose quarterback for John Hardin this year?

I'm taking CH over JH...for reasons stated by hoss and just a fan. Hope it's a good, competitive game, though!

MBKT, don't hoss HCS is open enrollment like JCPS.

HCS is not open enrollment! Enrollment is based on districting and where you live.

Easy slugger lol That's what that was supposed to say, bud..proper inference would've allowed you to safely assume that, seeing that there is a "DON'T" in the last line. My phone auto-corrected think to hoss for some reason. Should've read "MBKT, don't think HCS is open enrollment like JCPS."

Central Hardin 34

John Hardin 21

Central Hardin's defense is improving each week and the offense is slowly developing a passing game which is needed when team load the box and stop Central's run game. Areas of needed improvement for Central include the special teams play.

I will be watching how this one plays out before Central Harding travels to BG with a date with the Purples!

Huh? Just because I added an exclamation point didn't mean that I was calling you out. I was just typing a response. Don't take it as getting on you. I don't assume much btw. I'm sure you know the old adage about assume, bud. Good luck to your team this season and Go Bruins!
