Bad game by Barker no doubt. Doesn't help the first play of the game he gets drilled. Basically set the tone for the rest of the game. Start number 4 was definitely horrible.

OVC maybe! I'm not here to trash the guy I'm a true fan but he's definitely not the answer. Meanwhile, Patty Ice is balling out in Boston College

 

Well I think we seen Patty Ice was not the answer either after 2 full years of starting by him. Which I am not sure how you can consider his performance this year balling out so far. After 2 games Barker still has more yards and tds and he is only on his 4the career start and against an Sec defense today not UMass like Towles. Who against UMass still only had a qb in the 30s. I think Towles showed exactly the qb he is when he was at uk and so far has looked the same at BC. Not great, but can play well enough against smaller teams. Which is what Barker has also done.

 

So maybe we all overrated both Towles and Barker or maybe there is one common theme between both which is a poor head coach.

 

Barker had a historically bad game today. However this still was only 4th start.Towles is on his third full year of starting and still doesn't do to much either. So not a good comparison yet. We will see where Barker is after getting as many career starts as Towles.
