Corbin is better than Southwestern. It'll be a battle but I expect the Redhounds to win

 

You never know about high school kids though. It's hard to play with the same effort and emotion every week. Corbin felt like they had something to prove this week after Danville handled them pretty easily at home last year, so the SW game could be a little of a trap game with Mayfield lurking the next week. Corbin has an experienced staff with Haddix, Tommy Greer and Wayne Mills who may be able to get them to put this win behind them and get focused on the next game though.

All we heard all week was how GREAT Danville was, Corbin man handled them tonight, and they shut all the SPEED you claim to have down. They got out played and out coached. Maybe Danville ain't as great as people think they are.

No ones mad it's just fun to call you out. You weren't there so all you know is hearsay. Corbin is better than any team Danville will play all year. They are very well coached and when you don't make plays you don't beat good teams. This will make the ads better in the long run.

I don't think so. We will see in two weeks, won't we? That will be by far the best team. The Ads need to worry about making it out of their own district before they stay worrying about that. Their district is no joke this year.

Oops my mistake. Completely read that wrong. What I meant is Mayfield will be the best team Corbin plays. And Danville should not overlook their district. District 7 2a is the best it's been in a while.

Corbin won how I thought they could...keep Danville's offense off the field. I heard Danville only ran 9 plays in the first 22 minutes of the game.

 

Congrats to Corbin. I would have lost money on this one.

@thunder1 why do you hate Danville so bad? I have no rooting interest in this being I'm from far western Ky., I'm just curious. I remember reading post last year where you amped up Lexington Christian and how they were going to manhandle Danville. Then they played twice and your team got beat by something like a combined score of 90 to 21. So now your a fan of everyone that plays them? And you celebrate wins against them that your team didn't have a part in? That's not a good look.

This is Greer's third year on the staff and Mills just came on board this fall after Bell Co. let him go.

Unknown. LCA is quietly pretty good so far this season.
