he did practice today has a pulled calf muscle didn't practice Monday .shared time with 2other backs .Also now three starting linemen out.

Carothers and Bright have proven themselves to be the top of the class in running backs in Western Kentucky this year. But a sleeper to look at is Johnny Drumgole at Russellville. He would be a steal for a school like Western or MTSU and would be a great grab for an OVC school like Murray or Austin Peay.

Josiah Robey's all purpose yardage is pretty impressive:

 

537 Yards rushing, receiving, KO returns and Punt returns. There are some punt returns not included.

 

Macdon, us NKy guys aren't current on some of these WKy players. When we look at the WKU roster, it is obvious some great players come from there. Where does Robey play? Like to follow his stats on KHSAA.

Josiah Robey is a senior and plays at Franklin-Simpson. He is the nephew of Joker Phillips and is one of those late bloomers. He had some great moments last season but seems to have gotten much stronger and picked up speed and quickness since last year. At the next level he will benefit greatly with a redshirt year.

 

Friday night we could tell he was itching to get his hands on a punt. Metcalfe Co kept kicking away from him. The last punt did the same thing. The Metcalfe kids were just kind of walking to the ball to down it. Jo acted like he was just jogging to the bench. On the way he scooped the ball an went 78 yards for a TD.

Both of these guys if they stay healthy will have great seasons. Robey likes to juke, Brady likes to go through you. They compliment each other very well.

Caudill has 513 yards rushing on 48 carries with 7 rushing TDs. Has 2 receptions for 85 yards and 1 TD. Has a kick return for a TD, a fumble return for a TD, an INT, and plays most every snap of defense.

 

Caudill rushed for 1300 last year.

Glad someone mentioned Caudill. Hes putting up great numbers at Edmonson. Von Williams is a beast of a sophomore. By the time hes a senior I expect him to be near the top of this list. Landon Board has to be in the mix to be the top guy. Maybe, doesn't have the skill guys around him that Carothers has, but I think he is pretty high on this list.
