September 3, 201610 yr J.T. Barret threw a pick 6 early and then went on to set an all time OSU individual TD record as the Buckeyes blow out BG. Heisman candidate Barrett was (21-31), 349 yds. ...7 TD's, (1 rushing).
September 4, 201610 yr May be the fastest team in CFB history. Looks like a track team out there on offense. Long way to go. But looked better than I expected and I had high expectations so overall very positive day. Go Bucks!
September 4, 201610 yr Author Nick Saban and Urban Meyer produce talent and great football year in / year out.... just the two top coaches in ncaa football.
September 4, 201610 yr Nick Saban and Urban Meyer produce talent and great football year in / year out.... just the two top coaches in ncaa football. Produce it? They get it, but they're certainly not making it.
September 4, 201610 yr How bout Rodjay Burns from Trinity, the frosh with a pick 6! Where are my Shanrock friends!
September 4, 201610 yr Produce it? They get it, but they're certainly not making it. Couldn't disagree more. Yes they recruit GREAT talent. But they develop that talent better than anybody else. Look at LSU they have just as much talent but they aren't getting any better.
September 4, 201610 yr I loathe Ohio State, but people taking to social media whining about Urban pouring it on need to stop. BG kids are on scholly too, Ohio State played a ton of kids, and Urban isn't paid to stop himself. You come in and make your money, either stop them or take a pasting.

Meyer didn't even celebrate when true frosh Rodjay Burns had his first career INT and TD.
September 4, 201610 yr If a team gets paid to come play another, nobody should be complaining about the score, regardless of what it is. You're getting paid to get beat down.
September 4, 201610 yr How bout Rodjay Burns from Trinity, the frosh with a pick 6! Where are my Shanrock friends! John-- How much did he play? Was he with the 2's, 3's....? I know it depends on many circumstances, but does Meyer historically like to play true freshmen? Thanks.
September 4, 201610 yr John-- How much did he play? Was he with the 2's, 3's....? I know it depends on many circumstances, but does Meyer historically like to play true freshmen? Thanks. Rodjay played with the 3's. Meyer tries to be this "I'm not gonna redshirt anybody guy" but he always ends up red shirting a hand full. Meyer believes that the frosh should be earning their roster spot on special teams. I thought Rodjay would have been a redshirt candidate but he had a good camp. It certainly depends on circumstances, someone like Bosa or Elliott you're only getting for 3 years anyway. Hats off to Rodjay for getting onto the field. A kid I know Justin Hilliard a 5 star linebacker couldn't get on the field last year as a frosh. Rodjay showed Meyer something in camp.
September 4, 201610 yr Author Produce it? They get it, but they're certainly not making it.Not sure what you mean by "making" talent and/or great football teams but as for me ... yes. they make great football teams from the talent that they recruit. I guess those players parents are the ones that actually, literally "made them". I can actually put Dabo Sweeny in there, just a little below those two with what he has done at Clemson since he took over.
