nkuclubbaseball19
Wow.... Will Carroll Verified account @injuryexpert Source confirms tibiofemoral dislocation, ruptured ACL for Bridgewater. "Trainers may have saved his leg and career by quick action." That's unreal. I still am in shock it happened from planting.

75center
That's crazy how it happened, particularly as he's not a big heavy guy. Boy I hope he can come back from it.
oldgrappler
Man how does that happen with no contact? It doesn't. Damage resulted from contact at a previous time. It just picked that moment to tear the rest of the way. Who knows how long it has been injured? Continuing to play on it finally finished the job
jpa2825
Golden opportunity for the 9ers to move Kap. Zim does not seem like a Kaepernick kind of guy.

oldgrappler
Yep. I keep waiting for my meniscus to tear the rest of the way. It has been 5+ yrs since it happened. I wasn't sure what happened at the time and tried to ignore it but the swelling and soreness kept coming back. Sometimes I don't notice it, but most of the time it is sore and swelled. It will probably happen when I'm standing on a ladder with a chain saw.

Now I'm waiting to see if it "resolves itself" or if I have to have surgery.

Knee dislocations are bad, and can be really bad and never fully heal / get back to normal.

This is a damn shame. Hope he can get back to NFL but more importantly I hope he handled his money well just in case he can't.
