I'm interested to see how HHS comes out of their lackluster performance from last week. Hopefully they have their heads on right. If they don't it will be a long night.

As much as I want the Birds to win, I'm just not sure it's in the cards this week. After watching them play last year, it was total domination. Imo, SC is just too big for the Birds, with skilled positions that match HHS. I just don't see what would keep Scott Co from just pounding down the field on the Birds. They just aren't big enough this year. Again, just my opinion. I hope I'm wrong! I know the boys will be prepared and play their tails off.

I'd love to see this one get pushed into overtime. Birds need to slug it out to show the other 5 A schools they are for real, Cooper wasn't a flash in the pan and CC was a shot in the foot. Hanging with another true 6 A powerhouse team would be a huge turnaround and confidence builder

Who will be the new qb?

It would be tough to justify a qb change before getting into district play. Bringing in a new guy two weeks before you get into games that actually count toward the post season seems fishy. How much experience are you going to gain when the teams you are going to be facing in the short run are very capable of shutting down most offenses completely, no matter who is the qb.

so now it's a coach change, a qb change, crickets in fort Thomas, their closing down the pub and 915, burning down the mess hall, dale will be coaching the volleyball team next year...am I missing anything

No idea from me. That's just what was relayed to me. Probably 7th or 8th hand. I was just asking a question not making a statement.

Highlands talking about replacing the QB while leaving the defense as is, is a lot like switching to a new bucket to bail out water on the Titanic.
