Why during the biggest game week of his career would Stoops issue a very distracting statement that can be found in the controversial issue forum.

That's my argument for the entire season. Stoops to me is not a "great" coach he's good but he needs a really good supporting cast to get thru the grind of a season.

 

The season will be defined by the three games in October, Vandy and Miss State at home and Missouri on the road - have to win all three to go to a bowl - lose the first two which is a possibility and the talk goes to basketball - Stoops may not be a great coach but his Agent is a genius, how in the world can a program agree to a contract that will pay a inexperienced head coach 12 million if he is fired after 4 seasons and does not have an offset clause, Stoops could take the money and coach somewhere else next season and keep the entire 12. The die yards say at 12-24 after 3 years and no Cards victory that Stoops is on the hot seat. I'm no expert but I would say that Coach Stoops with his contract is in the driver's seat instead of the hot seat. He's got very good people around him, especially his Agent.

So I will be at the game, Wife's band is preforming at halftime with the UK band and other schools. Any who, originally if parents wanted to go, they had to buy tickets for $50.00, yesterday the schools got a link saying each school could get 100 free parent tickets.

I don't care where they go to school. It is pretty bad when an SEC school has to give away tickets to fill up their stadium in the season opener against a bowl team from last year.

Interested to see how Drew starts out, I expect him to have a nice game.
